Glossybox July 2013 Review

Lately I have not been posting as much about my subscription boxes that I receive, but that's going to change. Most I purchase, a few I receive as a sample to review.

This one is GlossyBox July 2013.  I usually end up with 2 of them, one I purchase and one I receive from PR. This month's box had 5 products plus a bonus product.

The theme this month was le Grand Bleu.  It has products that relate to the deep blue sea, summer and the beach.  Here's the card that came with the box to explain about the products and what the cost are for the full size products.

I have not reviewed all the product in the box yet because some of them will not be for me, they will be passed along to one of the ladies who reviews for me or into a giveaway box that I plan on giving to my readers.

One product that I already had was Nails Inc. Baker Street in a full sized bottle with the rhinestones.  So I used it instead of opening the new mini bottle.  I have to say the mini bottle is so darn cute!  I love this color and formula and I can tell you it is one of my Daughter Jayme's favorite colors also.  It is a vibrant cobalt blue and one of Nails Inc's best selling polishes.  The formula applies easily, and is super shinny, this is without a topcoat.  You can purchase this polish in the full size bottle at for $9.50.

The next swatch is from a UK company called Figs & Rouge.  It's a 100% pure and natural tinted lip balm in a 12.5ml tube (full size).  I love the color and the feel of it on my lips.  It is a thicker formula and it has some staying power.  The flavor I received is Cherry Blossom.  I'm not particularly fond of Cherry flavor or smell, but this is lightly scented and doesn't bother me.  You can find this at for $9.

I'm sure I will use the Nicka K New York Absolute! Makeup Cleansing Tissues, they will go in my travel bag. The full sized package contains 60 sheets for $6.99, this was the bonus product.

How did this months box rank with me?  The only full size product was the lip balm.  The rest were mini or sample sizes and at $21 a month, I don't think this would have been a good value for me.  Some months are hit and miss, this was a miss for me.  If you would like to subscribe to GlossyBox it's $21 per month or less with a longer subscription.

*I usually purchase one GlossyBox a month and sometimes I am sent one from PR or for being an Affiliate.  As always, my reviews are honest and unbiased.  This post contains an affiliate link.
